Location: LaGrangeville, New York
Client: Sky Acres Enterprises
Completion Date: 2010

The original runway lighting system was a direct-buried system and was in need of replacement. This project designed a system of electrical cables, conduits and light bases for replacement as well as a replacement constant current regulator, new PAPI cables, and other miscellaneous connections necessary to complete an operational system on the runway (3,830 ft x 60 ft). Engineering services included local permitting, and construction documents which were used in soliciting public bids.

TSPE also provided construction inspection services to replace the runway edge lighting system. The project included replacement of the electrical cables in conduit, light bases, a constant current regulator, PAPI cables and other miscellaneous connections necessary to complete an operational system on the runway (3,830 ft x 60 ft). TSPE also coordinated a FAA flight check to verify the PAPI settings before it was placed into operation.
